Eva Baronsky

Born in Rheingau in 1968, Eva Baronsky studied interior design and marketing communications in Wiesbaden. She is now based in Kronberg (in the Taunus hills) where she lives with her family and works as a freelance writer. Her first novel, HERR MOZART WACHT AUF (‘Herr Mozart Wakes Up’), became a bookshop favourite, selling a high number of copies, and it has been translated into a number of languages. In 2010 the City of Bad Homburg chose Eva’s novel for the Friedrich Hölderlin Scholarship. Her second novel, MAGNOLIENSCHLAF (‘Magnolia Sleep’), was published in 2011, and her third, MANCHMAL ROT (‘Sometimes Red’), in 2015.
