Antje Wagner

Antje Wagner, was born in Wittenberg, Luther’s Town. She studied German and American literature and cultural studies. In 2012 the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung hailed her as one of the twenty best German-language authors under the age of forty. Alongside her works of adult fiction, are her novels for young people: UNLAND, which won the ver.di Literature Prize, SCHATTENGESICHT (‘Shadow Face’), and VAKUUM, winner of the Leipzig Reading Compass). A number of her short stories have also been translated into Greek, Polish, and English. Antje Wagner lives in Hildesheim and Potsdam.
