Elise Schmit

Elise Schmit was born in Luxembourg in 1982. After reading German and philosophy at the University of Tübingen, she returned to Luxembourg where she works as a schoolteacher. Her publications include journalism pieces, academic writings, and other shorter prose texts. In both 2010 and 2012 she was awarded first prize in the Concours littéraire national, the annual literature competition of the State of Luxembourg.
