Marco Wehr

Dr Marco Wehr is a physicist, philosopher, and internationally acclaimed dancer. Because of this unusual double talent, he has been described by Die Zeit as “the brain with a body”. His areas of particular professional interest as an author and speaker are predictability, the theory of complexity, and the relationship between physicality and thinking. The books he has published to date have received glowing reviews and have been selected for the Science Books of the Year listings. His essays for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, which turned a critical lens on the mathematicising of the world, were nominated for the Henri Nannen Prize in 2013.
