Paul Ingendaay
Paul Ingendaay was born in Cologne in 1961. He was the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’s culture correspondent in Madrid until 2013 and is now the newspapers's Europe correspondent in Berlin. His first novel, WARUM DU MICH VERLASSEN HAST (‘Why You Left Me’), was awarded both the aspekte and the Niederrhein Literature prizes. His other books are: DIE ROMANTISCHEN JAHRE (‘The Romantic Years’), a novel, 2011; DIE NACHT VON MADRID (‘The Madrid Night’), short stories, 2013; GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG FÜR SPANIEN(‘Instruction Manual for Spain’), thirteenth printing in 2014; GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG FÜR ANDALUSIEN (‘Instruction Manual for Andalusia’), 2014, second printing 2016; and an illustrated biography about MARK TWAIN, 2015.
